Description

The Gruesome twosome.
This was my personal challenge for today 'Draw a game character' so I went one step further and did a duo, I've never drawn these guys before, the scans a bit rubbish as it hasn't pick up the lighter gray tone which gave it a little more depth.
Any ways hope you guys like

I find that I'm drawn by the details of the armor on the figures. I'm having some trouble differentiating though the parts where there's no armor and it's bare skin (probably has something to do with the monochrome). I know it's a pain to get a flawless application of the marker, but it's a tad distracting in the background. The guy in the background has almost the same amount of detail/prominence as the guy in the front (especially when the back guy has more darks in some respects than the first one). He's probably not very far away in regards to the foreground guy, but I think foreground guy might have stood more prominently if background guy were receding a bit more.

Great sense of anticipatory poses, ready for action that might come their way. You definitely get the feeling that they're ready to spring into battle. Anatomy/posing is good and overall dynamics of the layout are great (foreground guy's arm coming out of the border).

Might just be might nitpickeyness, but I think it'd look a whole lot better if you were edit out the part where you scanned it in and the scan bed showed through.

Overall: good stuff
